Mrs. Elizabeth Hoffner has been teaching since 1998. Mrs. Hoffner is a product of Catholic education, having attended Catholic grade school, high school and college. She earned BS in Education from Duquesne University and a Masters of Education with a concentration in Technology from Arcadia University. She has a Level 2 Certification in Early Childhood and Elementary Education.
Mrs. Hoffner volunteered for the Mercy Corps and taught in an inner-city Catholic school in Chicago immediately following graduation from Duquesne. Her time in Chicago was very special. She loved exploring a new city, meeting new people, and working in a challenging environment. She returned to the Philadelphia suburbs to be closer to family.
After returning to this area, she taught 4th and 5th grade at Gwynedd Mercy Elementary School. After receiving her masters, she went on to teach Technology at Our Lady Help of Christians and St. Alphonsus. Currently, Mrs. Hoffner is teaching technology at Our Lady of Mercy and Queen of Angels schools. She has always taught in a Catholic school and enjoys being able to share her faith with the students.
On a personal note, Mrs. Hoffner has been married since 2002. She has 4 children, 3 boys and a girl. Her children were born in 2005, 2007, 2009 and 2016. She loves that she gets to teach both her own children as well as her nieces and nephews.
