Queen of Angels is a Christ-centered school with the Blessed Mother as our model. Today with God's grace we will work to the best of our ability and treat one another with kindness and respect. We thrive as a school community when we put our faith into action through service to others. Mary, Queen of Angels, pray for us.
Belief Statements
We believe that:
Catholic identity encompasses who we are and all that we do.
Together with lay colleagues, the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary’s charism permeates the school since its founding and calls the school community to a “life of prayer, love and service, courtesy and hospitality. In this school, Jesus is the center and the Blessed Mother is our model.”
Since we are children of God, each person is treated with dignity and respect. Obligations and service to God, family, neighbors, country, and the world is emphasized in preparation for career readiness and responsible citizenship now and in the future.
Parents, the primary educators of their children, affirm the value of Catholic education through their partnership with the school and the practice of their faith.
Establishment of a safe, structured, and nurturing learning environment promotes the development of one’s unique abilities and talents.
An enriched curriculum that includes instruction in religion, technology, Spanish, art, music, and physical education addresses all aspects of a child’s development.
Technology is an essential tool in the 21st century. At Queen of Angels School, technology is integrated daily throughout the curriculum and is especially utilized during intervals of virtual learning.
Profile of a Graduate
Queen of Angels faculty, in partnership with parents, have taken the responsibility of grounding the graduates in the teachings of the Catholic Church seriously. They have instilled in students the importance of practicing the faith through celebration of the sacraments and through service to others. Having successfully achieved the course of study prescribed by the Office of Catholic Education of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, graduates are prepared to begin their high school studies with confidence. Throughout their elementary schooling, they have learned the importance of working collaboratively in completing project-based activities, utilizing technology proficiently, and participating in extracurricular activities; thus, alumni enter their high school years well equipped for exciting opportunities to further develop their gifts and talents.
